Lee Hagewood

Lee was born and raised in Nashville, TN, growing up at the Crieve Hall Church of Christ. He earned undergraduate degrees in Bible and History from Freed–Hardeman University in Henderson, TN in 2013 as well as a Master of Divinity from the Freed–Hardeman Graduate School of Theology in 2016. Lee’s wife, Kelsey, also attended Freed–Hardeman and studied social work, which she has been engaged in ever since graduating in 2015. Lee has been involved in youth ministry at the Bethel Springs Church of Christ in Bethel Springs, TN and part-time preaching at the Beardstown Church of Christ in Lobelville, TN. Prior to attending the Nicholasville congregation, Lee and Kelsey were actively involved with the Estes Church of Christ in Henderson, TN. Lee and Kelsey moved to Wilmore, KY in 2018 so Lee could begin pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. Lee and Kelsey have one cat, Butterbean. Lee enjoys reading, playing the drums, discovering new music, regularly rewatching his favorite movies, and spending time with family and good friends.
