Kevin Burr

Kevin was born and raised in Nashville, TN, growing up at the Donelson Church of Christ. He earned a B.A. and M.S.E. in History and Social Studies from Harding University in Searcy, AR where he met his wife Linnea who is also from Nashville. Kevin then studied at the Harding School of Theology in Memphis, TN earning a Master of Divinity while teaching classes at the Church of Christ at White Station in Memphis. In the fall of 2014 Kevin, Linnea, and their dog Gibson moved to Lexington, KY so Kevin could begin his PhD in Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. In August 2016 Kevin began preaching and teaching for the Nicholasville Church of Christ where he also leads singing. In November 2017 Kevin successfully completed his Comprehensive Exams, earning him the status of Doctoral Candidate (ABD). Kevin and Linnea have two sons, Peter and Samuel, and Kevin enjoys hiking and spending time with his family, playing ultimate frisbee, reading, and keeping up with the latest Apple computer products.
